Objectivity Doesn't Exist

Objectivity does not exist. It is a construct designed to center and cater to white men. Stop abiding by it. Be biased towards your truth. Be passionate about unearthing lies. Everything is political.

We are speaking specifically to the way in which objectivity has been constructed — in other words, as unfeeling, cold, absolute, Eurocentric, male, and strictly empirical and or “scientific” (despite that science itself is subject to biases because it is filtered through people who uphold oppression). The form that objectivity exists in today exists almost entirely as a product of hegemonic systems of knowledge production; and it deserves to be interrogated.
